Nicole helped me to focus on the process of making and eating food – to be present to all my senses – rather than think on the caloric intake and how “good or bad” a food was.

My biggest takeaway was that this is a long process, and there are growing pains along the way (I can’t be perfect and I need to learn to be ok with that).

Moving forward, I feel ready to discuss my food insecurities with my partner and close friend.
